Please allow me a little time to open the door to Creation a crack.
All of us have been told evolution is true for as many years as we are old. We have never heard any doubts expressed on TV, textbooks etc, so what I have been saying about the science supporting the Bible’s creation narrative is extremely difficult for most of us to even ponder. We all know there are “two sides” to a story but with evolution we almost never get to hear the rebuttal, not even in most churches.
Having a “closed mind” is necessary.
We don’t have the time or mental energy to open our mind to everything in life. The challenge is to know when keeping it closed is making a mistake.
At age 69 I was buying a new car, an SUV. It had top ratings for durability so I told the sales representative that it was the last car I would need to buy and that I would keep it for the next 20 years— I had done my research, the “base” model had all the features I needed —so please “just write the purchase order up with your best price”.
My mind was closed to upgrading.
He did and I bought it. He should have said, I wished he had said, “Mr. Customer, I see you have a wife, when you are 89 or even 79 years old, might she wish you had purchased the upgrade package with the electric tail gate opener?” But he didn’t. I subsequently had what’s called an “after market” install which is only an “ok” alternative to the factory install: Fumbling to adjust the mirrors one night I pushed the button beside it, opening the tailgate at highway speed. Fortunately, nothing was there to fall out. For better or worse, we pay the price, or reap the benefits, when we close our mind to a subject.
The outcome to our world with its collective mind closed to Creation and its affirmation of the trustworthiness of The Bible is the mayhem we are living in today; the destruction of our faith, our family, our finances, our freedom.
Why? Because “Science” is now “God”’. It replaced the God of the Bible and all the guidelines that provide peace and prosperity, with whatever those who control the narrative on behalf of “science” wish to say.
Have you noticed? It is ALWAYS the weakest who are trampled by the powerful. Here is the latest and most comprehensive study by far on the outcome of divorce, (an action strongly discouraged by Jesus) on the children.
According to researchers Andrew Johnson, Maggie Jones, and Nolan Pope, the average household income immediately after divorce is less than half that of married parents…Children of divorce also have a 60% higher risk of teen pregnancy, and a “sharp and persistent” increased risk of childhood mortality. They spend much more time separated from at least one parent, with an average distance of 100 miles between mom and dad. The topic of Evolution I argue, is perhaps the most important aspect of life because it says we are alone in the universe and therefore the strong are free to subjugate others, to kill and maim as they wish. (the survival of the fittest)
Marx used Darwin, and Hitler and others have used Marx to justify killing millions. Evolution was used to justify subjugating black people and destroying preborn life. Today, global elites depend on the acceptance of Evolution to justify their right and indeed obligation to run the world better than those who are elected can do.
Creation de-thrones the elite, the globalists:
They need evolution to defend their illicit grasping of power and controlling the government. They despise and repress evidence that supports the Bible because the Bible puts them under God with His authority to serve us, not over God as tyrants to repress us. Its not just the poor but the mere average who have not accumulated the billions of dollars the world elites have, which justify their taking control and endeavoring to override our elected officials. Those elites, speaking in broad terms, believe there are too many people on earth. Of course they don’t believe there are too many of them- the billionaire elites, just too many of the every day people like you and me. (so they justify taking their carbon creating private jets to Climate conferences)
Against that background of elitism, a wide variety of immoral actions have been initiated that make perfect sense from their perspective.
For example, sterilizing African women under the guise of giving them anti-malaria injections. Only from a Biblical perspective can they be shown to be unethical. Outside of what God has revealed in the Bible, who has the authority to argue what is ethical ultimately or not? Power = authority = control. Evolution supports the WEF’s plan “by 2030 you will own nothing and be happy”. Whereas the Bible refutes that as it authorizes and protects ownership and private property (i.e the 10 commandments, verses 6 to 21 but its useful to carry on reading to understand God’s perspective on how to create a country and freedom with no police or jails. 10 Commandments
Evolution denies the Creation narrative that says God created the earth to sustain mankind. Evolution therefore justifies climate fears and additional taxation and repression, hurting all of us, but especially those in the poorer nations.

Of course the glaciers are retreating and the world is a tiny bit warmer than 1850. That year was the end of the Little Ice Age that had started a few hundred years earlier. The alternative to evolution is a God intelligent enough to create the immensely complex universe. (called ID- intelligent design) In the Muslim, Jewish and Christian faith, we were created by the God of the Bible. And therefore that God has ultimate claim over our lives as our creator, just as something you design and build, by default, you own. Therefore God’s owners manual, The Bible, is the ultimate word, the ultimate authority over our lives. But even the non-sectarian Intelligent Design is forbidden by those who control the narrative.
Let me summarize decades of evolutionary thinking:
Darwin took advantage of a new idea- that the earth was actually millions of years old, (not the long held Biblical age of about 6000 years) to float an idea (1859) that the simple cell he could see in his primitive microscope somehow became more and more complex over eons of time resulting in lower life forms somehow becoming human.
He assumed that in the decades following his idea that fossils would be found that linked together the various life forms. Have the “missing links” been found? The short and correct answer is “No”.( links-are-missing) But the search goes on and from time to time something is presented as such but invariably, (so far) other paleontologists et. al refute it demanding an x-ray which reveals that it is fraudulent.
The discovery of DNA crushed any hope of Darwin’s idea of evolution being correct-
because it revealed that DNA dictates how life in the cell grows, like a blueprint dictates how a pile of lumber dumped on the ground becomes a house.
But because evolution is about religion and theology NOT science, “scientists” could not let go of Darwin, so a neo-Darwin idea was born.
Recognizing that DNA when reproducing, occasionally mutates, the neo-Darwin idea suggests that after millions of mutations something better might occur. So this is like photocopying a photocopy so many times that instead of the letters becoming illegible, somehow a new Shakespearian work or equivalent, would appear. Or scanning an image, then scanning that image, and after a few hundred times re-scanning, somehow a new and exciting image that is better than the original, has been created.
Evolution desperately clings to an example like this where the mutation is better:
Insects on a windy island. A few mutate and are born without wings. They find enough food without flying and fighting the winds to thrive, “survival of the fittest”. But DNA information has been lost, not gained. Nevertheless, this is used as an example of evolution even though it is merely an example of the God created DNA function called adaptation. (Each DNA strand contains more information than is needed so some can be lost and still function. This is how different dog breeds have been created, not evolved) So this was enough “evidence” for desperate “scientists” to carry on presenting evolution as if it were proven true.
Than in 1996, a researcher published a book stating that Darwin had said if a particular discovery of a tiny machine in biology was made that his idea should be tossed out. In fact by then 40 such machines had been discovered.
These machines had in common a fact called “irreducible complexity” meaning the machine could not evolve.

Yet those of us with an interest in seeking the scientific truth are the ones being mocked and bullied into silence by the likes of Richard Dawkins as “deluded” or “ignorant, stupid or insane”. Those who want to believe the Bible, accept the rebuke it and slink away.

Dirty Cops: Withholding key evidence
If you were charged with a crime but were completely innocent,
would you want the evidence against you to be gathered by a “dirty” detective-someone trying to prove a particular point of view and intentionally overlooking evidence that would exonerate you, or an honest one committed to gathering all the facts and weighing them equally?
“Dirty cops” have persuaded the public that the Bible and its timeline of historic creation events are wrong-
by skewing the data to attempt to support their billions of years and choosing to ignore data that challenges their idea. All the billions of years old “idea” is- just an idea. But scientists who fail to support the idea are mocked and even fired. Yes really.
But the measurable observable empirical evidence points to the age of the earth being within the Bible’s timeline of creation.
This is extremely important because God-Jesus- says He wrote the entire Bible Genesis to Revelation. If we can’t believe Genesis, we should not try to live by the rest of scripture.

God-Jesus-claims to have made everything around us. Not time, random mutations and haphazard explosions

But for decades, those who believe the Bible to be true, have struggled to reconcile “science” which they also believe to be true (billions of years), with the Bible which tells us clearly, unequivocally; God created all this about 6000 years ago.
How do we get the 6000 years and can we be sure?
It is an approximate number based on the ages some of Jesus’ ancestors lived to as recorded in scripture, and the fact that we have a complete genealogy of Jesus back to the first created man. 6000-years Verse 23 “Jesus was about thirty years old when he began his public ministry. All sorts of ideas have been suggested by theologians struggling to reconcile billions of years with 6000 years of scripture but none of them withstand linguistic or theological scrutiny.
Linguistically : Ancient language scholars tell us with certainty that the word “day” as used in “God made the earth and universe in 6 days” means 6, 24-hour days.

Theologically: Jesus died to atone for the sins of Adam. “For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. So the Bible does not allow us to believe in a fictitious Adam (billions of years) while claiming to believe in a literal Jesus. Indeed, Richard Dawkins mocks Christians who try to do so as deluded . (1 minute video)
Nevertheless, millions of Christians have tried and that has led to all sorts of confusion in the church.
Why should I believe that Jesus actually lived, walked on water, made water into wine, and was resurrected from the grave after his crucifixion, if I cannot believe he made the world in 6 days about 6000 years ago?
Interestingly, according to the Jewish calendar year which started at creation, we are in year 5785.
Fortunately, the actual science- the observable, measurable, empirical, supports the Biblical timeline.
It is anti-Bible evolutionists desperately trying to hold on to to their power that try to block the science of the Creation narrative.
Billions of years?
In contrast to the Bible’s timeline is uniformitarianism, neocatastrophism and neo- Darwinism/evolution supporting the misery inducing “survival of the fittest”.
As humans, sometimes we will “die on the hill” to avoid acknowledging a life changing mistake: The “billions of years”
Evolution promoters will breach their own sense of ethics if it means discrediting The Bible and crushing those who oppose them.
For example, The Royal Society. “It is a fellowship of many of the world's most eminent scientists and is the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence”
King Charles is in it. Richard Dawkins is in it. They both talk about freedom of speech.
“In 2021, Dawkins was among the eminent scientists who wrote to the Royal Society of New Zealand in defense of two professors whose expression of certain views had been called into question.”
So with Richard Dawkins and King Charles among the top 100 most influential people in the world can we be confident in freedom of speech and academic freedom? influential

This is what happened when the Education chief of the Royal Society of England suggested children should at least know there are people in the world who believe in God and Creation.
This week, in Britain, we have had the highest profile proof that even a hint that your views on evolution might differ from those of the scientific establishment is enough to force you out. Prof. Michael Reiss, an evolutionist and the Royal Society’s director of education, resigned under pressure (given the push) within a couple of days of merely suggesting that creationism and ID (Intelligent Design) could be discussed in classrooms—even if it was in order to explain why they were, in his view, wrong…
Immediately, atheistic scientists called for him to be ousted, claiming he was wanting creationism to be taught as an alternative to evolution. This was not his position, so he was not pushed out because of what he actually said, but because other people misrepresented what he had said. The Royal Society should have defended Reiss against those who were twisting his words, but instead they gave in, thus saving their own reputation for evolutionary orthodoxy.
Note, at the risk of repetition, that Reiss is an evolutionist himself. He was simply saying it was OK for pupils to express their own opinions. He said, ‘There is much to be said for allowing students to raise any doubts they have—hardly a revolutionary idea in science teaching—and doing one’s best to have a genuine discussion.’
But doubts about evolution are not allowed. Scientific evidence that counters it is ruled inadmissible. So, despite his obvious support for evolution, Reiss received a torrent of abuse from other top-level scientists and members of the Society for even suggesting that evolution could be debated.
Funny, I thought education was all about training children to think for themselves—not brainwashing them. Yet creationists are the ones these scientists accuse of wanting to brainwash students. For example, the notorious atheist Professor Richard Dawkins has likened teaching children creationism to a form of ‘child abuse’. Reiss had the temerity to suggest that Dawkins was wrong…
But Dawkins doesn’t like being told he is wrong. In the BBC’s flagship Panorama science programme this week, he once again spouted his vicious view that anyone who disagrees with him on evolution is ‘ignorant, stupid or insane.’ royal-society-stifles-debate
Why didn’t academic freedom loving Dawkins and dialogue loving King Charles (Prince at that time) come to the rescue? Its not freedom of speech if you are only allowed to speak when you agree with others. King Charles, Canada’s King, recently opened Canada’s parliament with a speech that included this paragraph: "By fostering collaboration and engaging in respectful, constructive debates, you will ensure this Government is capable of bold and fair action to support Canadians". canada-strong
How can a scientist speak up against the likes of Richard Dawkins? In addition to Dawkins being a member of the Royal Society, he has won 18 related awards and published 3 books related to science according to AI. He has been featured in more than 29 publications and documentary films. Between decades at his prestigious University in England and positions at the University of California, Berkeley, an approving nod from him would get a fellow scientist a push forward. Conversely his mere annoyance with someone appears to seal their demise.
Despite his power, scientists are fighting back: They are publicly denouncing the tyranny of evolution pushers.

Dirty Cops: Withholding key evidence
Dirty Cop # 1: James Hutton:
It was James Hutton, the Scottish physician-turned-geologist, who suggested in 1785 that the earth was immensely old. His famous assertion that there was ‘no vestige of a beginning, no prospect of an end’ paved the way for Darwin’s theory of evolution. Today most geologists take Hutton’s views for granted.
It was easy for the original assertion by James Hutton to be made and accepted in 1785. Science didn’t have the tangible evidence it does now. Just as we say that the truth always comes out, supporting his assertion, since then has become far more difficult and required more and more convolutions, twisting and skewing of the obvious- what is observable and measurable.
Dirty Cop # 2: Charles Lyell:
“Lyell also sold geology some snake oil. He convinced geologists that … all past processes acted at essentially their current rates (that is, those observed in historical time). Who else are the Dirty Cops today?
All those who control the narrative- hold the microphone. Filmmaker Ben Stein made a documentary about the academic repression of the scientists who dare to disagree with those I am calling The Dirty Cops.
Earlier this year a documentary movie was launched in America that became the fifth most popular documentary in US cinema history—‘Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed.’
It dared to say that the scientific hierarchy was carrying out an academic persecution—of anyone who questioned evolution. As proof, it interviewed scientists and science teachers who had been sacked for supporting intelligent design (ID) or creationism.
Critics of the film claimed—without proof—that the scientists interviewed were not fired because of their views on evolution.
A member of an organization I support, Creation Ministries International, did a review of that documentary:

So going back to Dawkins comment that only the “ignorant, stupid or insane disagree with him” let’s tackle this “ignorant, stupid and insane” idea with measurable observable facts. (Something Dawkins admits the he does not have- only circumstantial evidence geniuses.club)
Summary to here:
1—The “dirty cop” analogy- the age of earth sciences have been taken over by those with a publicly stated desire to negate The Bible rather than review all the data to see where it points.
2/ We have the scientific “right” to challenge old earth age assumptions because there is no fixed external measurements to validate the billions of years claimed.
3/ There are more than 100 direct observable measurable evidences in science today which support a young earth. This is in sharp contrast to the evidence for evolution which Dawkins, (the man who writes books about it) admits is circumstantial- ie. indirect, less reliable. I will illuminate a few of them and link you to additional ones.
Let’s start where the public has been led to: That we “know with certainty the approximate age of the earth through scientific measurement.”
Dating the Earth
“Does science know how old the earth is?” AI answers back:
“Earth Age Known? Yes, science has determined that the Earth is approximately 4.54 billion years old.” This age is based on radiometric dating techniques, which measure the decay of radioactive isotopes in rocks and minerals. By examining the ratio of parent isotopes to daughter isotopes, scientists can calculate the age of a sample.
National Geographics augments:
Scientists have calculated the age of our planet to be approximately 4.5 billion years. But how did scientists determine that age? The answer is complicated: It involves everything from observation to complicated mathematics to understanding the elements that make up our planet.
National Geographic acknowledges some challenges to its accuracy because of what is called “the rock cycle” – the ebb and flow of earths volcanos etc. so the work around is to compare earth’s rocks to those collected from the universe which have “rocks from the moon and from meteorites, neither of which have been altered by the rock cycle.” It concludes “All the data from Earth and beyond has led to the estimated age of 4.5 billion years for our planet.” age-earth
I hope you are following this- no rocks come with a date of manufacture stamped on them so National Geographic is saying that by comparing the rocks from the universe with no date stamped on them to earths rocks with no date stamped on them that we will get an accurate date.
So for virtually all of us that settles it right? AI and National Geographic concur.
But National Geographic leaves out the dates that don’t support the 4.5 billion number. Some dates point much older but acknowledging that testing the age of a specific rock sample can vary by hundreds of millions of years does not engender public confidence, so eliminating the dates that don’t fit the narrative is done for persuasion, not science reasons.
Third, uniformitarian geologists violate their own principle when they reject ‘impossible’ dates even if they are consistent with each other. It is not generally realised that most dates obtained from rocks are thrown out for one reason or another. This sobering fact is not even vaguely hinted at in the NG (National Geographic) article. Sometimes it is claimed that geologists know which date is valid and which is not, but there are many situations when there are conflicting dates. Even uniformitarian geologists themselves cannot agree which date to accept and which to reject. the-dating-game
As well, we know that rocks created recently, i.e. in front of our cameras, in the last 50 years date to millions of years old.
We sometimes hear the claim that the dates must be valid because they give dates in the millions and billions of years. But modern lavas frequently give anomalously old dates in the millions to billions of years. For example:
· Several 20th century andesite lava flows from Mt. Ngauruhoe, New Zealand gave potassium-argon (K-Ar) ‘dates’ from <0.27 to 3.5 million years. See Radioactive dating failure.

But there is/are no objective external reference rulers, weights etc. for geological time. Rulers, clocks, weigh scales etc. have what is called an external reference. The world measurement standards are kept safe at the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) in Saint-Cloud, near Paris, France. The BIPM houses the primary standards… which serve as the reference points for the SI units.
So billions of years proponents must be tentative not dogmatic as there are so many conflicting dates to chose from and no actual external guides to compare them with.

“Old earth Billions of years” promoters must refute this foundational Bible narrative. I will show you in this post that honest science comes 2nd to denying The Bible. Why does it matter? Because it is a foundational Bible narrative. Not only is it an important part of the original Jewish scriptures- what Christians call the Old Testament, it is referenced for illustration purposes in the New Testament by Jesus.
While only God could orchestrate a sampling of the animals coming into the ark, researchers have calculated that by using juvenile dinosaurs, i.e. 3 meters long not full grown 20 meters etc. a sampling would fit on the ark as per the Bible’s dimensions.
Yes the Bible’s account of creation has dinosaurs living simultaneously to humans.
There is ample evidence of recent dinosaurs public sculpture of dinosaur from the year 1446.
Noah, living about 4500 years ago, was perhaps near enough to a shore to have learned boat building. Humankind was not primitive. Has Noah’s Ark been found? There is now solid evidence that it has.
Not a new find, this site has been explored since 1950. But new technology is helping confirm the original hopes. The world we see is NOT the world God created 6000 years ago. Scientists who have looked at the evidence with an open mind to the measurable observable -empirical data have created what they call a “model”- a working theory that explains what is seen and may or may not be exactly correct but overall explains the evidence better than any other model.
The world before the flood was just one large continent. There were no immense mountains-
like we have today so the flood did not need to cover a non-existent Mount Everest.

2/Mount Everest
If the billions of years promoters are correct Mt. Everest would be blocking international flight paths as it should be 239,000 feet tall. Let’s do the math.
Mount Everest? The continent India sits on is moving 50 mm per year and Mount Everest is still growing taller at the rate of 4 mm per year. We read: Arching over 8,849 metres (29,032ft) into the sky, Everest is the world’s tallest mountain. Once, the craggy limestone peaks that skim the sky of Everest, were on the ocean floor. Scientists believe it all began to change about 200 million years ago – at around the time the Jurassic dinosaurs were beginning to emerge – when the supercontinent of Pangea cracked into pieces. The Indian continent eventually broke free, journeying north across the vast swathe of Tethys Ocean for 150 million years until it smacked into a fellow continent – the one we now know as Asia – around 45 million years ago… And so the Himalayan mountain range began to rise skyward. By around 15-17 million years ago, the summit of Everest had reached about 5,000m (16,404ft) and it continued to grow. The collision between the two continental plates is still happening today. India continues to creep north by 5cm (2in) a year, causing Everest to grow by about 4mm (0.16in) per year (although other parts of the Himalayas are rising at around 10mm per year [0.4in]). Now, if you are like me, your mind glazes over with all these millions of years and so no one does the math. But lets have some fun and do it. 17 million years ago Everest was 5000 meters and has been growing at 4 mm per year since. 17 million x 4 mm per year=68000000 divided by 1000 = 68,000 meters increase growth in height plus the 5000 it was 15 million years ago, for today’s projected height of Mount Everest using their own numbers is 73,000 meters tall. (239,501 feet)
The “billions of years promoters say Mount Everest should be 73,000 meters tall. The fact that it measures 8,849 meters indicate the trustworthiness of their Ideas.
But being that the world is supposed to be 4 billion years old why don’t we do a work up for what the height of Mount Everest should be using that age: I asked AI to help. To calculate the length after 4 billion years, first convert the growth rate and time into the desired units. Growing at 4 millimeters per year for 4 billion years results in: 4 mm/year×4 billion years=16 billion millimeters. Next, convert millimeters to meters and then to kilometers: 16 billion millimeters=16 billion÷1000 millimeters/meter=16 million meters. 16 million meters=16 million÷1000 meters/kilometer=16,000 kilometers. Therefore, after 4 billion years, the object will be 16,000 kilometers long
Earth Diameter: The diameter of the Earth at the equator is approximately 12,756 kilometers (7,926 miles).
Therefore if uniformitarianism is correct- that what we see happening now is all we need to see to figure out the past, Mount Everest, if turned upside down, would penetrate through the center of the earth and extend out the other side of the earth by about 3 kilometers.
Clearly that is not the case so may we ask Richard Dawkins who are the “ignorant, stupid or insane.’?
Notice that “Creation” and “billions” actually agree on the fundamentals! One continent split apart leading to plate tectonics forcing up the massive mountains. The disagreement is over the speed at which it happened. The “billions” say it happened at the present rate. The Creation people provide the evidence that it happened violently over months then slowed to today’s rate. My point is that by putting all the evidence collected around the globe from geologists etc. and putting it on the table, it points to the violent creation model within the Bible’s timeline. 3/ The earth collapsing before our very eyes. (and video cameras)
I mentioned that it was easy in the 1800s to speculate that the earth had always been as it appeared at that moment because they didn’t have the photographs and instruments that vividly present how catastrophic the earth is. But now we are recording with cameras the sudden collapse of rock features that have been in existence 4.3 billion years-apparently. Logic tells us that they should not suddenly be collapsing.
The Arches National Park (USA) has over 2,000 rock arches. If 43 have collapsed since 1970 and the linked article was written in 2015, that’s 45 years, giving a rate of collapse of ~1 per year, which means that all would be gone in ~2,000 years. This is thoroughly consistent with the biblical timeframe but not the evolutionary one of millions of years (5 million?). Historical records of the ’12 Apostles’ in southern Australia should allow a similar ‘clock’ to be calculated, albeit coarser than this USA park one. See A dangerous view. age dangerous

4/ Niagara Falls and the Ice Age:
I have not been everywhere to be able to say that this statement is absolutely true but its true to me: The best 20 minute boat ride in the world is to the foot of The Falls. Only there do you experience the incredible power that carved the falls up the Niagara River at the geologically insane speed of about 5 feet per year. (slowed now by man made intervention to about 1 foot year.) niagarafalls
Niagara Falls and The Great Lakes came out of the Ice Age. They are clear evidence that the earth has not always been as it appears today changing only slowly and gradually. Creation scientists suggest the cause of the Ice Age was The Flood and that it lasted about 700 years following the global flood.
Accepting the mechanism that caused the global flood makes it easy to explain the cause of The Great Ice Age:
“Hot underground water was a major source of Flood waters… massive volcanic eruptions would have poured ash into the air, which blocked out much sunlight…So the land would have been much colder. Then some of the warm water evaporated into clouds, which then dropped much snow over the cold land. Over centuries, this packed into huge ice sheets covering a third of Earth’s land.” life-in-the-ice-age.
However the “billions” scientists are still struggling. Asking IA “Ice Ages Causes” gets you “Scientists…do not fully understand the exact causes. Key factors…potentially initiating ice ages... However, the precise mechanisms linking these factors to the global cooling and warming patterns that define ice ages are still under investigation..”
Again “Creation” and “Billions” of years are relatively on the same page: “Billions” and “Creation” say Niagara Falls is the outcome of the Ice Age. “Billions” says the Ice Age ended 12,000 years ago, Creation, about 4500 years ago. Compared to the 4 billion years claimed age of the earth, that is being on the same page. But while Creation has a clear scientific answer for what caused the ice age, “billions” are still befuddled about how many as well as what caused them.
“Dirty Cop #2” Charles Lyell and Niagara Falls:
Our modern day view, “through a camera lens” in the sense that we have eye witness accounts reveal the dishonest intentions of “Dirty Cop #2” Charles Lyell who twisted and skewed eye witness accounts to get 35,000 years, enough to undermine faith in The Bible and ignite the imagination Charles Darwin.
Charles Lyell intentionally disregarded the eye witness accounts of the erosion speed of The Falls. His personal visit and his written report of it gives us insight into his character and purposes.
In 1841, the Falls were much harder to reach than they are today. Late that year, Lyell visited the area and did his research to determine the approximate age of the gorge that was excavated by the Niagara River. No one disputes what Lyell saw; you can go there today and see essentially the same thing.
He noted that the gorge cut through an elevated tableland and extended about 11 kilometers (seven miles or 35,000 feet) from The Falls down to Queenston.
Lyell was told that large chunks of limestone would regularly break off and fall into the gorge.
Lyell also discovered that in 1829, a long-time resident told a Mr. Blackwell, the son of an eminent geologist, that The Falls had receded about 45 metres (150 feet) during the 40 years he had lived there—more than one metre (three feet) a year.
When Lyell returned to England, he reported that he had scientifically determined that the Niagara Gorge was 35,000 years old, much older than the Bible allowed. …Since Lyell was a respected English gentleman, most people blindly accepted his estimate. They readily understood how water erodes rock, and this made Lyell’s report all the more believable.
Overall, rather than adopting a ‘wait and see’ attitude, the Church capitulated to these long ages, even though they contradicted the Bible. This was tragic, because Lyell’s conclusions were based on a number of logical fallacies. However, the damage was done, and increasingly people began to doubt the Bible, assuming its chronology was not reliable in the light of what Lyell had claimed.
Indeed it was an early edition of Lyell’s book that greatly influenced Darwin, when he read it on his famous voyage on HMS Beagle. By 1859 when Darwin’s book On the Origin of Species was published, Lyell’s arguments promoting a vast age of the earth, and undermining confidence in biblical chronology, had greatly helped prepare the way for evolution’s acceptance.
Fudging the results
…Lyell ignored the reports from Mr. Blackwell that residents had observed the Falls receding by more than one metre (three feet) a year. At that rate the gorge would be less than 12,000 years old, which was in the ballpark of the biblical chronology, given the uncertainties in the estimates. That was not old enough for Lyell, who was looking to promote his slow-and-gradual geological theories. So he chose to disregard the data and conducted his own investigation of the residents.
Lyell does not explain how he did it, but strangely, he arrived at a reduced rate of 0.3 metres (one foot) a year.
This ‘conjecture’, as he called it, much better suited his purpose. Since the gorge was 35,000 feet long, he concluded that it must be 35,000 years old! This estimate further undermined people’s confidence in the biblical chronology. And Lyell saw the Bible as the major obstacle to the general acceptance of his geological theories.
Lyell’s conclusion was wrong. Later analysis of eyewitness reports from 1842 to 1927 confirmed the high rate of erosion—1.2 to 1.5 metres (four to five feet) a year. The residents of Lyell’s day had been conservative! This rate places an upper limit of 7,000 to 9,000 years for the gorge.
However, we now know the gorge eroded even faster than this, so this age is still too high (see Erosion at Niagara Falls supports the biblical time-scale below)
Altogether, the estimate for the whole gorge is 4,400 years—much less than the 35,000 years Lyell published, and the current ‘age’ of 12,000 years. And we have not yet calculated the age effects of increased sediment load, increased water flow, or the possibility of erosion by ice, etc. Thus, the revised age agrees remarkably with the end of the Ice Age (3,800 years ago), which followed Noah’s Flood (4,300 years ago). niagara-falls-and-the-bible

Again- in contrast to the admittedly mathematically complex dating system used by the “billions” which has been shown to create false readings when used on recently created rocks

Carbon and Rock Dating. How does it work? How can the scientifically measurable millions and billions be reconciled with the Bible’s claim of thousands of years? Carbon-14 has been found within diamonds, which makes an age of hundreds of millions of years impossible.
